# Unlock

1. Once your $ROX locking period has concluded, or if you decide to unlock your $ROX tokens, please go to the "Governance > Lock" section, find your lock NFT, and click on the "Manager" button.

2. Click the "Unlock" button to receive your $ROX tokens from the locking contract. Don't forget to claim your locking rewards before proceeding with the unlock. \

   Please be aware that if you choose to unlock your $ROX tokens before the end of your locking period, you will incur a penalty resulting in the loss of a portion of your tokens.&#x20;
